Ten tribal MLAs from Manipur's Kuki-Zomi-Hmar community have requested the Election Commission to enable voting for the 50,000 displaced community members scattered across the country due to ethnic violence last year. The MLAs seek special arrangements for voting, allowing the use of Aadhaar cards and other valid documents in place of lost voter identity cards.
