iPhone shipments jumped 19-20% in the March quarter as compared to a year before, according to IDC India, with over half of the shipments coming from iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 models. The India region became Apple's fourth largest market for iPhones in Q1 2024, from sixth largest in Q1 2023, according to research firm TechInsights, which said shipments grew 24% on year in India, registering its highest ever Q1 shipment, driven by discounts and promotions during the Republic Day period.
