The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has taken action against developers selling non-agricultural plots without registering with the authority. Show cause notices have been issued to 41 developers in Maharashtra. Registration with MahaRERA is mandatory for selling plots, flats, or buildings.
