The Indian Supreme Court has appointed former Supreme Court judge V. Ramasubramanian as the sole arbitrator in a dispute between South Eastern Railways (SER) and Rashmi Metaliks. The court has set aside an arbitral tribunal's award that directed SER to pay Rs 1300 crore to the private firm.
