The CM had, on Tuesday, asserted that the state could only release water to its neighbour if it had any in the first place. “BJP is alleging that water is being released to Tamil Nadu; it is a lie. Even if Tamil Nadu asks or the Centre tells us to release water, we'll not do so,” he had said.
