Singtel's stake in Airtel rises, Mittals' falls after Bharti telecom deal

Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) has increased its effective stake in Bharti Airtel to 29.44% after Bharti Telecom, Airtel's main controlling company, raised its ownership. This acquisition has resulted in the Mittal family's stake decreasing to 23.7%. Bharti Telecom, jointly owned by Singtel and the Mittals, aims to maintain a controlling stake in Airtel.
