Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed the company scrapped plans for a $25,000 electric car for human drivers. Musk stated that such a vehicle would be "pointless" without full autonomy. Instead, Tesla will focus on its "Cybercab," a fully autonomous robotaxi with a projected price of $25,000, set to begin production in 2026.
