Tata Power will invest Rs 5,666 crore to establish a 1,000 MW pumped storage hydro project in Bhivpuri. The project is expected to be completed within 44 months. Financing will be 75% debt and 25% equity. This will help in renewable energy applications and assist in the decarbonization of hard-to-abate industries.
