Oil prices rose slightly on Monday due to concerns over potential supply disruptions from the Middle East after Israel intensified attacks on Iranian-backed forces. Brent crude futures for November delivery increased by 16 cents to $72.14 a barrel. The market is also awaiting comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell regarding monetary policy easing.
