Tata Power to invest up to $9 billion to expand renewable energy capacity

India's Tata Power plans to invest approximately Rs 700-750 billion ($8.95 billion) over the next five to six years to expand its renewable energy capacity. CEO Praveer Sinha announced that the company aims to add 15 gigawatts of renewable capacity by 2030.
