Air India’s $400 mn overhaul: Luxury seats, modern lights and high-tech upgrades coming soon

Air India has initiated a $400 million refurbishment programme to upgrade 67 older aircraft, starting with 27 Airbus A320neo planes and followed by 40 Boeing wide-body aircraft. The revamp includes modern cabin layouts, updated seats, and enhanced in-flight features. The first upgraded narrowbody aircraft is expected to re-enter service by December 2024.
