IndiGo's cargo division anticipates a 17% growth in operations this fiscal year, driven by increased demand on domestic and international routes. The airline handled 387,047 tonnes of cargo last year and expects this to rise to 453,627 tonnes. The carrier is also optimizing aircraft utilization by focusing on lean sectors outside peak passenger demand.
