Essar Oil and Gas Exploration and Production announced a ₹3,000 crore investment to enhance gas production at its Raniganj CBM block in West Bengal. The company aimed to boost its contribution to India's gas output from 1% to 5% in five years, exploring untapped portions of its 500 sq km acreage.
