IOC to raise refining capacity by 25% to meet India's oil needs: Chairman

Indian Oil Corporation aimed to increase its refining capacity to 88 million tonne per annum and raised petrochemical investments to meet India's energy needs and reduce import reliance. The company planned to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2046, focusing on clean energy sources such as hydrogen mobility, biofuels, and electric mobility alongside fossil fuels.
