Tata Power, DGPC partner to set up 600 MW hydro project in Bhutan

Tata Power and Bhutan-based Druk Green Power Corporation Ltd have partnered to develop a 600 MW hydropower project in Bhutan, costing around Rs 6,900 crore. The project will help meet Bhutan's increasing electricity requirements and contribute to India's energy transition to renewables. Tata Power will invest 40% in Khorlochhu Hydro Power Ltd, a Public Private Partnership company.
