After the incident involving an IndiGo plane landing and an Air India aircraft taking off from the same runway in less than a minute at Mumbai airport came to light, India's aviation watchdog took notice. Following this, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) derostered the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) who was on duty during the incident on Saturday. Both IndiGo and Air India have launched investigations into the matter.
