The Central Railways is working on Thane’s platform 5/6 and Mumbai CSMT’s platform 10/11 to run 24-coach trains. A 63-hour megablock that started Thursday midnight has affected suburban services. The block has lead to the cancellation of 930 suburban locals and 86 long-distance trains causing inconvenience to passengers. Extra UTS counters have been opened at Dadar for affected trains.
