Serum Institute of India says it disclosed 'all rare to very rare side effects' of Covishield in 2021

The Serum Institute of India has stopped manufacturing and providing additional doses of the Covishield vaccine due to concerns about its side effects. AstraZeneca has also withdrawn its Vaxzervria vaccine and marketing authorizations within Europe. The UK-based pharmaceutical company collaborated with the Serum Institute of India to provide the vaccine to the Indian government. Families of individuals who experienced adverse effects are pursuing legal action against AstraZeneca and the Serum Institute of India.
