IndiGo has agreed to order 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, powered by Rolls Royce's Trent XWB engine, to strengthen its position as the domestic leader in the Indian aviation industry. The aircraft's configuration will be determined later, with deliveries expected from 2027. IndiGo also holds Purchase Rights for 70 Airbus A350 Family aircraft. The airline also made the largest single aircraft order by any airline was for 500 Airbus aircraft last year.
