DGCA issues stricter breath analyser norms for air traffic controllers, others

India's aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has increased the mandatory percentage of air traffic controllers, aircraft maintenance engineers, and safety-sensitive personnel at airports undergoing breath analyser tests from 10% to 25%. The revised Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR) will come into effect after three months, according to the DGCA
