US-based Bharat Innovative Glass Technologies Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between Optiemus Infracom Ltd and Corning International Corporation, plans to set up a new facility in Tamil Nadu. The facility will produce cover glass for portable devices like mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. The company's director, Ashok Kumar Gupta, exchanged documents with Guidance Tamil Nadu MD and CEO V Vishnu during the signing of the memorandum of understanding.
