Zee Entertainment has requested an extension for the deadline to complete the merger deal with Sony's subsidiary, Culver Max Entertainment. Sony has not responded to the extension request. The two-year agreement between Zee and Sony expired in December. Zee is committed to the merger and is engaging in good faith negotiations with Sony. Both companies need to inform regulators to terminate the merger deal legally.
