BHEL to set up 2,400 MW thermal power plant at Odisha's Jharsuguda
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been awarded the EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contract by NLC India Limited to set up a 2,400 MW capacity greenfield thermal power plant in Jharsuguda district, Odisha. The project will consist of three units of 800 MW each, and BHEL's scope includes engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, and commissioning of equipment such as boilers, turbines, and generators.
