Two women among six Indian researchers get Infosys Prize this year

The award, which is given every year to honour the achievements of researchers and scientists, includes a cash reward of $100,000. This year, two women - Neena Gupta, Professor in the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute and Vedika Khemani, Associate Professor in the Physics Department at Stanford University, have become the recipients of this prestigious awards.
