The British Library has started restoring its online catalog, which was disrupted by a cyberattack. Roly Keating, the library's CEO, stated that the majority of physical items will be discoverable and usable again, but access will be slower and more manual. The library expects a full recovery to take several more months. Similar attacks on other cultural institutions have caused outages and disruptions.
