Kuki Chiefs' Association, Manipur condemns govt's demand for detailed documentation of villages and hills

The Kuki Chiefs' Association, Manipur condemned a government order for documentation of villages and hills, calling it discriminatory amid ongoing violence between the Kuki-Zo and Meitei communities. Violent incidents since September 1 resulted in 12 deaths and many injuries. Over 60,000 people have been displaced since May 3 last year, with 226 killed and 1,500 injured.
