The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee's Disciplinary Action Committee has issued show-cause notices to five leaders, including three MLAs, for breaching party discipline. They have seven days to respond. The committee is also recommending the readmittance of former Minister Nilomoni Sen Deka and will submit a status report to the All India Congress Committee soon.
