The CPI (M)-led Kerala government has announced the disbursement of a two-month pension for over 60 lakh beneficiaries as an Onam gift. State Finance Minister K N Balagopal stated that Rs 1,700 crore has been allocated for this purpose. Beneficiaries will receive Rs 3,200 each, with payments starting next week.
