The ruling BJP in Assam secured two vacant Rajya Sabha seats uncontested, with candidates Rameswar Teli and Mission Ranjan Das receiving their certificates. With only two candidates remaining after the nomination withdrawal deadline, Teli and Das were declared winners without a contest.
