We're India fans, not sports fans (and it's ok)

Cheering your country - overjoyed when it wins, gutted when it loses - is natural for all people who belong to nations. It becomes especially heightened in the inter-national, medal tally-is-GDP festival of the Olympics. But while many Olympic followers across the world watch the spectacle on two levels - to witness human physical prowess and dexterity across disciplines across nations, as well as to follow their athletes through thick and win - Indian Olympic spectators seem to be in it just for their country.
