On Thursday, 18 BJP MLAs from Jharkhand were suspended from the assembly and removed by marshals after they protested against Chief Minister Hemant Soren's refusal to address their queries and the eviction of opposition MLAs the previous day. The disruption began when BJP members, dissatisfied with Soren's response to questions on employment and other issues, staged a noisy protest in the assembly chamber, including tearing documents.
