West Bengal's Governor, CV Ananda Bose, has called on state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to provide an immediate report on the objectives of a seven-member panel to review three new criminal laws. The panel, led by a retired judge of the Calcutta High Court, will review the new criminal laws and suggest state-specific amendments.
