Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party President BY Vijayendra has criticised the state government for not taking dengue cases seriously and plans to raise the issue in the Assembly. He accused the government of not taking the issue seriously and criticized Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar for his focus on real estate. The state has seen over 7,000 dengue cases, prompting Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to instruct officials to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and allocate 10 beds in wards at hospitals for dengue cases.
