BJP MLA Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, elected to Lok Sabha, requested BJP president J P Nadda to relieve him as leader of opposition in Delhi assembly. Bidhuri won in South Delhi parliamentary constituency. Bidhuri will resign from assembly membership on June 18 to comply with rules stating he must resign from either assembly or Lok Sabha within 14 days of notification.
