10 vacancies created in Rajya Sabha after members get elected to Lok Sabha

Following the recent general election, the Rajya Sabha has 10 vacancies due to members being elected to the Lok Sabha, with two each in Assam, Bihar, and Maharashtra, and one each in Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Tripura. The Rajya Sabha secretariat has officially notified these vacancies as per the Representation of the People Act, 1951, prompting the Election Commission to schedule new elections to fill these seats.
