Tensions escalated on Sunday as Delhi Police detained several BJP leaders and workers, including the party's Delhi unit chief Virendra Sachdeva, during a protest against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's visit to Rajghat ahead of his scheduled surrender at Tihar jail. Police officials stated that the protesters were removed from the Rajghat area to ensure law and order was maintained.
