Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accused JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy of attempting to downplay rape and sexual offence charges against his nephew by criticiaing Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar. Prajwal Revanna is the grandson of former PM H D Deve Gowda and is currently evading capture after fleeing the country. Siddaramaiah criticised Kumaraswamy for not taking the accusations seriously.
