In a rally in Palamu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized previous Congress governments for their approach towards Pakistan, calling them "weak" and accusing them of sending "love letters" to Pakistan in the hope of peace, which resulted in Pakistan sending more terrorists. Modi highlighted the shift in India's approach towards Pakistan after 2014, emphasizing a stronger stance under his leadership. He also mentioned the eradication of Naxalism, terrorism, and the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, former Pakistan Minister Fawad Chaudhry praised Rahul Gandhi, saying he has a socialist ideology.
