Mamata Banerjee accused BJP of spreading canards about Sandeshkhali, asserted that West Bengal is the safest state for women. Criticized BJP for silence on women torture in BJP-ruled states and also warned of questioning judge's judgments impacting youths' jobs. Hitting out at former Calcutta High Court judge Abhijit Gangopadhyay for "taking away jobs of thousands of youths" across the state through his judgments, Banerjee said, "The youths will not forgive you.
