Rx prevent more than cure advertising

The Supreme Court has asked the GoI to address the asymmetry in medical claims, particularly in the case of Ayurveda. Allopathy, a modern medicine, has gained popularity due to its scientific scrutiny, while Ayurveda relies on advertising and consumer protection rules for deterrence. A harmonised approach would involve regulating the active pharma ingredient rather than the final product, reducing misselling but not eliminating it.
