The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) failed to get interim relief from the Punjab and Haryana High Court on their plea to set aside the Chandigarh mayoral election. They will now approach the Supreme Court for an early hearing. In the election, the BJP retained all three seats, and the Congress and AAP held a protest and filed a police complaint against the presiding officer for tampering with ballot papers.
