Protests by BJP-JD(S) workers in Karnataka intensify after the removal of a saffron flag bearing Lord Hanuman's portrait from a flag post. Section 144 has been imposed in the village and police personnel have been deployed. BJP leaders and workers are holding protests in all district headquarters of the state.
