The BJP seeks to sustain momentum over the Ram Mandir by making an issue out of the removal of a Hanuman Dwaj in the Vokkaliga-dominated Mandya district. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accuses the BJP of playing politics and hits out at them. Tension arises in the village of Keregodu after a saffron flag with a depiction of Hanuman is taken down.
