A senior BJP leader said going forward the BJP's focus will be on consolidating Hindutva vote bank and reach out to castes on the back of welfare schemes and measures taken by Modi government at the Centre. The BJP is also working to reach out to Jats in northern states and Marathas in Maharashtra and has asked its leaders from the castes to plan special drives to reach out to personalities from these castes engaged in social work.
