Congress workers in Assam's North Lakhimpur town were allegedly assaulted and their vehicles vandalized during the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Hoardings and posters welcoming the Yatra were torn and party members were beaten up. Two vehicles used by the party were damaged. The miscreants arrived in a car belonging to a person close to the local BJP MLA.
