SM Foundation, the social good arm of the SM Group, has been named Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Company of the Year at the 15th Asia CEO Awards.
The recognition was presented during a ceremony held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport World Resorts, in Pasay City on Oct. 8, 2024.
Founded in 1983 by Henry Sy and Felicidad Sy, the SM Foundation has been a catalyst for community empowerment, driving impactful initiatives in education, health care, sustainable agriculture and disaster resilience.
These efforts address critical social challenges in the Philippines, sparking positive change that resonates with communities, partners and stakeholders who share a vision for social good across the Philippines and Asia.
Forty years since its inception, SM Foundation remains committed to its core philosophy of "people helping people," continuously creating opportunities and uplifting vulnerable communities to foster a culture of social good.
