MANILA, Philippines — The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) deported 75 Chinese on Friday after they were found to be working at an illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub in Pasay City. The Chinese boarded a Philippine Airlines flight PR336 bound for Shanghai. PAOCC chief Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz said it was possible that there could be more as the Bureau of Immigration continued to process pending cases. He said that on Friday morning, the BI was still finalizing the paperwork of the Chinese who would be deported. Previously, the BI told foreign workers of POGOs to leave the country voluntarily during a winding down period. The move comes after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered a ban on all POGOs during his third State of the Nation Address on July 22.
