'Habagat' to bring rain in Metro Manila, parts of SLuzon, Visayas, Mindanao — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila, the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, will be experiencing some rains on Saturday because of the southwest monsoon or "habagat," the country's weather bureau said.

According to its morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Sultan Kudarat, Misamis Occidental, and Lanao del Norte in Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms.

The rest of Mindanao, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, while Metro Manila, Mimaropa, Batangas, Cavite, and Laguna will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated or localized rain showers or thunderstorms.

No active tropical cyclone is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, according to Pagasa.

The temperature range is from 25.9 to 34 degrees Celsius while humidity is from 59 to 92 percent.
