FULLERTON Healthcare Corp. Ltd. (Fullerton Health Group) and its subsidiary, RadLink-Asia Pte. Ltd., elegantly launched its first dedicated center for executive health screening and advanced diagnostic imaging at Bonifacio Stopover Corp. Center in BGC, Taguig City, on June 28, 2024.
The inauguration of the new center was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Ho Kuen Loon, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Fullerton Health Group; Margareta Laminto, chief commercial and sustainability officer of the Fullerton Health Group; and Carmie de Leon, country general manager of RadLink Philippines Corp.
As part of the opening ceremony, the pineapple roll tradition was observed to bring good luck and prosperity into the facility.
For his keynote message, Kuen expressed enthusiasm and optimism about the opening of Fullerton Health's very first executive health screening center in the country.
The Fullerton Health Group CEO said in an interview with The Manila Times: "I think the demand is very strong. The Philippines is growing as a shining star in Southeast Asia. The desire and the demand for quality health care have increased over here. So, I hope that we can play a part in this because we want to bring quality, affordable health care to more Filipinos."
Kuen emphasized how the pandemic made more people pay greater attention to their personal health, leading to increased awareness and intentionality in making lifestyle choices and prioritizing well-being.
"If people really have the purpose or intention to take care of their health, preventive health screening is an element of it," the Fullerton Health Group chief added.
Classical-crossover mezzo-soprano Janina Lorelei also delivered an elegant performance at the launch, which was hosted by Dafort Villaseran, The Manila Times Supplements and Special Projects editor.
