MANILA, Philippines — The Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) or the Pag-IBIG Fund joined government agencies supporting First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos' "Lab for All" program at the Mandaluyong College in Mandaluyong City, as part of making social and medical services accessible to communities.
Its Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels (LPOW) assisted its members with registration, cash loans, housing loan applications, issuance of Pag-IBIG Loyalty Plus cards, and address membership queries.
"As Lingkod Pag-IBIG, we are committed to ensuring that our members are able to utilize our programs and services, whenever it is needed, wherever they may be. Our LPOW is prepared to be mobilized nationwide and participate in future Lab for All deployments," Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta said in a statement.
Acosta also affirmed her support to the LGBTQA+ community, who joined the events as part of their Pride month celebrations.
"Our Lingkod Pag-IBIG mantra –Tapat na Serbisyo, Mula sa Puso, does not discriminate against anyone," she said.
"We are Pag-IBIG that serves without discrimination. Our services and programs are for every Filipino worker, regardless of gender and socio-economic status. We aim to provide a Pag-IBIG that is felt by all," she added.
Last month, Pag-IBIG described the "Lab for All" initiative as the agency's new "love language" and was aimed at extending medical services and social security benefits nationwide.
